We visited Scivu beach known for its desert sand and shifting dunes.
This is one of the larger and wider beaches on the west coast. We went at sunset after the crowds had left and found a peaceful, sandy paradise.
The sand is incredibly soft and a golden pink color.
And the beaches are framed by vibrant, sedimentary, red rock making the shoreline seem like the desert meets the ocean.
On the way to the beach we had to stop several times to allow herds of sheep to cross the road.
We later learned that most of them were heading back home from the pasture for their afternoon milking.
We were charmed by the herding dog that takes her work very seriously and was quick to let us know that our paparazzi behavior was not welcome.
Ba ba black sheep, have you any wool?
We're sure these sheep had a lot of wool but summer is here and look at them all recently sheared.

We also saw some really cute small herds of goats walking down the street. They always appear to be doing something mischeivous.
